Interactive Agency 15miles Experiences Continued Success with Industry Awards and Strong Year-Over-Year Growth in 2010
NEW YORK (October 26, 2010) — Due to major client wins and several industry awards, New York-based 15miles, the interactive-services division of the world’s largest local-search agency TMP Directional Marketing, cited significant revenue growth over the 2009 fiscal year.
15miles, which specializes in digital-marketing solutions for national brands looking to acquire customers in local markets, reported 16-percent revenue growth when comparing the first three quarters of 2009 to 2010. This growth is largely attributed to new account wins, as well as the continued development of existing clients’ campaigns as they migrate from traditional channels to performance-based local, social and mobile platforms. Both 15miles and its current clientele have profited from the development of cost-effective plans that generate wider reach and greater returns on investment. As evidence that 15miles has been able to successfully deliver on its clients’ need to develop cost-conscious, yet lead-generating, strategies, it was honored with two industry awards in 2010.
First, the agency was recognized with Honorable Mention at the ClickZ Connected Marketing Awards 2010, which is an annual event — hosted by ClickZ and Search Engine Watch — to acknowledge brands that employ creative and innovative uses of marketing for the purpose of reaching target audiences. This award resulted from 15miles’ partnership with Virginia-based Sunrise Senior Living, a client that engaged in a geo-modified lead-generation campaign involving search-engine optimization, social media, pay-per-click advertising, Internet Yellow Pages and local-listings management. Through these solutions, Sunrise was able to drive a substantial increase in online visibility at the corporate level, as well as leads for its local senior-living facilities.
Second, 15miles topped a list of finalists — to receive the Bronze award at the IAB MIXX Conference & Expo 2010, which is the official interactive conference, expo and awards show of Advertising Week. This award, which was in the “Lead Generation” category, recognized 15miles’ campaign with Children International, a worldwide organization dedicated to providing assistance for children and families living in poverty. With the support of 15miles’ interactive-marketing solutions, Children International was able to cost-effectively secure increased online donations and child sponsorships in a down economy, while decreasing cost per lead.
